About William Petrone Architect
Headed by William Petrone, William Petrone Architect is a strong design practice that provides a comprehensive range of architectural services including: pre-design feasibility and programming services, design through contract administration; and submittals to the appropriate authorities, including building management and government departments. William Petrone has served over 100 clients since 1980 and his projects have included numerous co-op and condominium apartments, urban townhouses, second homes and suburban free-standing houses as well as commercial and institutional interiors and projects. As a founding partner at Sidnam Petrone Gartner Architects, William was responsible for the design of many award winning and published projects including the Greenwich Village Townhouse, The Saddle River House, AOL Executive Offices, The Harrison House and The Spur Lane House in Idaho.
Although his clients have diverse needs, they are unified in their desire for architecture that is well conceived and well executed. Many clients return to William Petrone as they relocate, expand their residences and offices or build a second home or facility.
At any one time, WPA services approximately 4 clients. Projects are designed and managed by William Petrone, who leads a team of creative design professionals. William Petrone maintains a strong presence throughout the design and construction process, collaborating with clients, engineers, lighting and audio/visual consultants, and providing the leadership and creativity necessary to produce unique and well executed designs.
William’s work has been published in many books and publications including The Architectural Review, Interior Design, and Oculus. The Saddle River House was honored by the New Jersey AIA. America Online’s Executive Offices received a New York City AIA award. The Harrison House was honored with an AIA awardand the American Architecture Award.
